The Historical Museum of Southern Florida “Crime in Miami” Exhibit
In October 2009 curators from the Historical Museum of South Florida asked Steinberg to be on the advisory board to help plan and procure materials for an upcoming exhibit.
On February 18th 2010, at the VIP preview for the “Crime in Miami” exhibit Steinberg learned that the exhibit’s curator had dedicated to Steinberg’s Forensic Art unit. Six of Steinberg’s cases were displayed as part of the exhibit, which also included a flat screen. The Forensic Art Wall also included a flat screen TV with two sets of headphones displaying a repeating loop of video of Steinberg creating an age progression of Gustavo Falcon for an episode of “America’s Most Wanted.”
On May 20th 2010, Steinberg participated in a panel discussion with other forensic experts, where they discussed the “CSI Effect on Law Enforcement and the Criminal Justice System.”
